Here's the basics:

• Saturday, December 10th, 2011
• Start/Finish at Edgewood Elementary School at 317 E. Calhoun St, Whiteville, NC
• Sign In/T-Shirts/Race Day Registration- 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
• 1/2 mile Kids Run at 8:45 a.m.
• 5K (3.1 miles) at 9:00 a.m.  Open to runners and walkers.
• $5 donation to register.  Money will support Columbus County Youth Running Programs- Girls on the Run, Girls on Track, and Stride.  All checks (race fee, t-shirt payments, and sponsor money) will be made out to "Whiteville Junior Womens Club" or "WJWC" which is the sponsoring organization handling funds.
• T-Shirts will be available for $10 at registration time or $12 the day of the event.
